Congratulations to Jeff Gatland and Sid Harris, our 2012 MLB Predictions Pool co-winners! This is the first tie (category points and HBP tiebreaker points) in our eight seasons of existence. Sid becomes the first two-time champ (2005 and 2012), and is only the second entrant in pool history with three consecutive top-three finishes (Jon Pauley 2008-2010).

We can still say that each season has featured a new winner of our pool, so it really is true that anyone can win! We hope you’ve enjoyed participating in this year’s contest as much as we’ve enjoyed presenting it, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2013. Any suggestions on how the pool might be improved are always appreciated—just email Jud or Dan with your ideas. We WILL be accepting PayPal next season, which will hopefully make the pool fee process a little easier for everyone (checks and cash are still fine!).
